NOM is an interactive, hands-on kitchen toolset designed to let children learn to experiment with food and have fun in the kitchen with the help of their parents. This set comes inside a box that can be used as a step stool. Having the set in a box provides kids their own space that they have responsibility for. They learn the value of their own items while also enjoying having control of their own things at an age when they don't get to make any decisions for themselves.

This set contains up to three trays of items with a designated spot for each tool. The trays allow for stress free organization and simple transportation. Additionally, using the trays teaches children to care for their items and how to keep their spaces clean.

Each knife in this set has a corresponding knife guard designed to protect children from working with exposed knives. NOM is targeted at children who have a vested interest in cooking/baking and whose parents want to provide them a fun way to learn to use sharp tools properly.
NOM chooses to include knives in each set so that kids are not limited to what they can make. safety is advised when using NOM knives so each set comes with a pair of kevlar gloves to protect the kids hands when they are cutting food.
NOM is targeted at children from 8-10 who enjoy cooking, baking, and helping their parents in the kitchen. 8-10 year olds are at a pivotal age in development when they are capable of doing some things on their own and they want to do everything even if they might be to young. NOM allows children to help their parents while they cook and bake in a way that lets them feel like they are taking charge and doing it themselves.
